Another complaint against actor Dhanush
MADURAI: Even after the Madurai bench of the Madras High Court quashed the maintenance petition filed by a couple from Melur who claimed paternity of actor Dhanush after a gap of nearly 14 years, Kathiresan filed a police complaint against the actor on Thursday alleging that he had submitted forged documents in the court.
The court on April 21 had dismissed the petition filed by Kathiresan and Meenakshi on the ground they had not made out a prima facie case for trial and their petition is devoid of merits.
However, today Kathiresan along with an advocate Mr. Titus filed a compliant against the actor in Pudur police station claiming that he had produced fake birth certificate, ration card, Aadhaar card and passport in the court during the trail. Hence he demanded the police to initiate criminal action against Dhanush.
Kathiresan also filed a similar petition against the actor to the registrar of the Madras High court bench here last month.
The couple from Manampatti village near Melur first filed the maintenance petition before the Judicial Magistrate court in Melur taluk alleging that the actor had been born to them on November 7, 1985, and that he ran way while in Class 11 in Arumugampillai Seethaiyammal higher secondary school, Thirupatthur, Sivagangai sometime in 2002.
The actor had then moved the High court bench seeking to quash the couple's petition in the lower court.
