Megha Akash, actress and former model, is all smiles about how her career is shaping up in Kollywood. Even though her debut film has taken nearly two years to see the light of day, the actress is in great spirits.

“I’m still in touch with director Balaji Tharaneetharan and I am thrilled that Oru Pakka Kathai is finally releasing in a couple of months,” she stated. Megha’s excitement, when asked about her role in her debut film, is sky high. She said, “Being a newcomer to the industry, acting in Balaji’s film was challenging, as I had portray a lot of emotions. It is an intense script and Balaji’s thought process is entirely on a different tangent.”

She further added that she had to attend rehearsals at Koothu-P-Pattarai with co-star Kalidas  Jayaram before the shooting commenced — “We did a lot of rehearsals and it helped us a lot to emote on screen.”

Talking about her audition for Gautham Menon’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta which stars Dhanush, Megha excitedly says, “He spotted me at a popular café in Chennai and called me in. I had to undergo two rounds of audition! I’m not sure if I can talk about my role for now. All I can say is that audiences can see a part of Megha through my character in the film. I will appear throughout the course of the film.”
