What could be nicer than letting your favourite icon name your child? Well, we were the first newspaper to report that the Thoongavanam director Rajesh Selva became a father last month. It was Kamal Haasan who named Rajesh’s daughter —Hoshika Mrinalini.
“Ulaganayagan blessed us and named our daughter ‘Hoshika Mrinalini’. These pictures will sure be a great treasure and gift to her in future (sic),” he wrote on Twitter. For the fan-turned-filmmaker, this day would have been the best of his life!
Meanwhile, Rajesh will direct Kamal Haasan for the second time in a row in an untitled out-and-out comedy film, which will have the story and screenplay by veteran writer-director Mouli. It looks like after much contemplation, Kamal felt that Rajesh could direct the script! This is a double bonanza, for sure!
