Varalaxmi to portray a villain in Vijay 62!

The news on Varalakxmi Sarathakumar that hit the stands on her birthday sounds good. The bubbly actress is on board the Vijay - AR Murugadoss film tentatively titled Vijay 62. The makers, Sun Pictures, confirmed this on their social media pages. Though they did not specify the role she plays, our sources found out that she would be seen as a baddie in the film. There are two more villains — Radha Ravi and politician turned actor Pazha Karuppaiah — in the flick.

If what sources say is true, Varu will be the third villain in the movie and it is for the first time she would be working in a Thalapathy movie. Varu has her hands full with Sandakozhi 2, Maari 2, Shakthi, Ammayi, Mr. Chandramouli, Kanni Rasi and Echcharikkai. The actress is equally busy with her social activities. While Keerthi Suresh plays Vijay’s love interest for the second time after Bairavaa, AR Rahman will be composing the music with Girish Gangadharan cranking the camera.
