Shruti Ramakrishna, the award winning Kannada actress, is back in Tamil after a gap with Aghori, which has Sayaji Shinde playing the titular role of devotee of Lord Siva.
Directed by D.S. Rajkumar, the action thriller is centered on the theme of ‘conflict between good and evil. Here it’s the fight between an Aghori and wicked people. “Sayaji has undergone an image makeover to look his part and worked really hard. The makeup process was cumbersome, but he was patient and given his best,” says an insider.
Since the team had some difficulty in shooting at Kasi, a huge set resembling Haridwar was erected in the city, where the climax with Sayaji and 150 aghoris taking part in it was canned. Mime Gopi, Siddhu, Riyamika, Madhavi, Vetri and several artistes from Kooth-u-pattarai appear in supporting roles. Actor/producer Vishal released the teaser of the film and impressed with the content, he lauded the team for their unique attempt.
