Remya Nambeesan sings for Trisha

Remya seemed super excited about the song in the movie.

Who can forget Remya Nambeesan’s rendition of Fy Fy Fy song in Pandiya Naadu? The song became an instant hit and opened avenues for directors to make heroines sing in their films. Now, The Sethupathi actress is at it once again as she has been roped in to render a song in Arvind Swami and Trisha’s Sathuranga Vettai 2, directed by NV Nirmal Kumar.

Remya seemed super excited about the song in the movie. “The recording happened day before yesterday and it is a cute song. Usually, directors approach me for folk numbers, but this is a stylish and peppy song. There was another kid who sang with me and did a wonderful job. Producer Manobala was also there at the studio and he was happy with the output. I am glad to be working on this film,” she starts off her conversation.

Currently, the actress is shooting for the Tamil remake of Telugu super-hit film Kshanam. “I will be wrapping up my portions in four days. Remaking a film is a lot of responsibility. When I was approached, I was nervous as I had to reprise Adah Sharma’s role. I have put in my best work to carry the right emotions,” she claims.

Remya is also part of director Sivakumar’s Natpunna Ennanu Theriyuma. “I play an ultra-modern woman in this film, produced by Libra Productions. Eighty per cent of the film has been wrapped up,” she concludes.
