Vishal is at it again! Yes, after going out of the way and extending his support through his ‘Rescue Chennai’ group comprising of Nadigar Sangam members and others during the 2015 floods, the actor has formed another group comprising his peers Karthi, Nasser, Jiiva, Jayam Ravi, Soundarraja, Hari and other artistes to help those people affected by incessant rains that has disrupted the life of people in the last week.
People were struggling to reach home after work due to torrential rains and that roads were also not motorable. The call taxi services were also not available. All those who were in low-lying areas were asked to move to a safer place by the government. Though Vishal was busy with his upcoming film of Irumbu Thirai’s shooting schedule, he had arranged for food and water for the affected people at his Vadapalani office.
Also, the group through makeshift camps was helping the needy with shelter, food, water and blankets across the city. He had also provided the basic amenities at Thayagaraja Theater in Adyar where many from Narikurava community along with others from public have been accommodated.
