"We felt that this song, in the voice of Vaikom Vijayalakshmi for our film 'Welcome Back Gandhi', would be a fitting tribute to the Father of the Nation on his 150th birth anniversary. The song was released by V. Kalyanam, the only surviving personal secretary of Mahatma Gandhi recently," said Balakrishnan.
