Divya Dhanapal, a Chennai-based model, is making her debut in Kollywood with Vijay’s Bhairava. Divya plays a brief role in the film; she stated that she is excited to have bagged it in the first place. Speaking to DC, Divya said, “I play one of Keerthi Suresh’s friends in the film. I am really excited to make my debut in Vijay’s movie. We recently shot a couple of scenes with the actor and I was awestruck seeing him.”
The suave model just can’t stop gushing about Vijay — “He is very kind and humble by nature. While other actors rehearse the scenes before the shoot, he would just read the script and act instantaneously. I got goosebumps seeing his acting. His positives are his cuteness and comic timing,” she added.
Earlier, rumours were rife that the film was a rural entertainer. Divya, who refrained from revealing any details about the genre or the plotline, revealed, “We wore ethnic costumes for the shoot and no one could spot a girl wearing western clothes.”
The shoot of the film is presently underway at a swift pace in Chennai, after which the team will move to Hyderabad.
