Aari’s push for Tamil

In his latest avatar as producer, the actor has acted in and produced a short film under his home banner.

Actor Aari, who is vocal about many issues, recently started an initiative titled Nam Tamil Mozhiyil Kaiyezhthiduvom, which urges Tamilians to start signing their names in their mother tongue.

In his latest avatar as producer, he is actively advocating the use of Tamil as the main language of communication, and has not only acted in but also produced a short film titled Sundara Thaai Mozhi, which is being aired at the ongoing 10th World Tamil Conference in Chicago.

Interestingly, the short film has been produced under his newly floated home banner Aarimugam and directed by Narayanan. Music is composed by Sathya and editing is by National Award winner Sabu Joseph.

The actor, who has been invited as one of the special guests at the conference, hopes to send Sundara Thaai Mozhi to international film festivals later on. “I will also make more meaningful and thematic short films under my banner,” he adds.
