Comedian Mayilsami’s son Anbu Mayilsami, is being launched as a hero in a horror-thriller titled Thiripuram. Directed by Vedhamani, the film has Brindha as Anbu’s pair.
Vedhamani, who has a vast experience in TV as well as filmmaking, says, “The film imparts a nice message. No one can make the world good or bad entirely. How fate plays a cruel role in a young man’s life forms the crux of this film.”
Niharika of Maanada Mayilada fame plays the powerful antagonist, in the role of a tantrik. Impressed with debutant Ganesh Chandrasekharan’s music for the movie, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music label has bought Thiripuram’s audio rights.
