Veteran actor Saranraj’s son Tejraj, who pursued filmmaking classes at Balu Mahendra’s acting school, makes his debut with a movie titled Lali Lali Arariro.
The film, directed by Lincoln Rajali, deals with the bonding between a mother-son duo.
A Viscom graduate, Tej was initially interested in direction. Many directors including filmmaker Lingusamy felt that he was hero material — which has now given Tej the confidence of donning the greasepaint!
Newbie Shivani is being introduced as his pair. Speaking about the movie Rajali said, “The story revolves around a guy called Lali who considers his mother as his life. He falls for a girl who dotes on her father. The conflicts that arise out of this situation forms the crux. There are many emotional scenes and like a seasoned actor, Tej was getting his acts right in the first take itself.”
