GV Prakash is easily one of the busiest celebrities in K’town today. The actor has four big films with leading directors — Vetri Maaran, Bala, Rajiv Menon and Sasi. Currently, the Bruce Lee actor is shooting for Kuppathu Raja alongside Parthiepan, which is being helmed by choreographer-turned-director Baba Bhaskar.
According to latest developments, now GV has been signed on to play the lead role in director Ezhil’s next. Speaking to DC, the multi-talented actor says, “Yes, I will be acting under Ezhil sir’s direction for the first time in my career. This film, which is produced by Escape Artists Motion Pictures, is a Telugu remake of Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada. We will start shooting in a couple of weeks.”
Meanwhile, a source close to the production house reveals, “We have signed Ezhil and GV Prakash for the project as of now. The rest of cast and crew are yet to be finalised. Since Ezhil is busy with the post production work of Saravanan Iruka Bayamen, we will start discussions about this venture in ten days’ time. An official announcement regarding the same will be out in the coming weeks.
Telugu film Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada is a horror-comedy which starred Nikhil Siddharth, Nandita Sweta, Hebah Patel and Avika Gor in the lead roles. The film, directed by Vi Anand went on to be a profitable venture in T’town.
