Director Pa Ranjith’s maiden production venture Pariyerum Perumal directed by Maari Selvaraj was critically acclaimed for its making and strong content. Besides garnering high praise, the movie was a huge hit at BO and also got international honors.
Post its success, Ranjith announced his next Irandaamulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu with Athiyan Athirai wielding the mega phone and ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh in the lead. Riythivika, the Bigg Boss 2 winner, was roped in as Dinesh’s pair. The film went on floors recently with the lead pair along with a host of actors taking part in it.
The Kaala filmmaker will soon be making his foray in Bollywood with a film based on tribal leader Birsa Munda who had fought against the British.
