Now, the actress-choreographer has turned director for an upcoming film titled, Yadhumaagi Nindrai.

Gayathri Raghuram, after playing female leads in many films including Prabhudheva’s Charlie Chaplin, went on to become one of the leading dance choreographers in K’Town. Now, the actress-choreographer has turned director for an upcoming film titled, Yadhumaagi Nindrai.

Recently, Gayathri shared a picture with Dhanush, who has crooned for a song in the film, on her Twitter handle. In a candid chat, Gayathri opens up about her film. “Yadhumaagi Nindrai is based on a true incident, and you can call it a semi-drama. We have completed the shooting for the film, and it’s currently in post-production phase.”

 

When queried about the cast and crew of the film, she quips, “We are planning to launch the film’s first track for which Dhanush has sung. We will reveal the details of the film along with the launch of the song.”

The songs of the film are composed by Ashwin Vinayagamurthy. Titled Pudavai Nilavu, the first single of the film is all set to be released in the coming week.
