‘Bullet’ is out of the cans

The much delayed Dhanush-starrer Ennai Noki Paayum Thotta has been rescued from financial difficulties but what about Naragasooran.

The Dhanush-starrer Ennai Noki Paayum Thotta (ENPT), directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, was in cold storage for almost three years due to the film maker having been in the grip of a financial crunch. The film has finally got a confirmed release date.

Producer Ishari Ganesh is the one who has come to the rescue of the project. He is helping Gautham get the film to theatres. The buzz is that the VTV director will do film for Ganesh’s banner.

Menon’s fans are elated as GVM has also announced his next project titled Joshua along with its first look with actor Varun, nephew of Ishari Ganesh. Varun was recently seen in the lead in the adult comedy film Puppy. But that had not gone down well with Vijay’s fans.

The fans seem to have assumed that Menon had tweaked the script of his earlier announced Vijay starrer titled Yohan: Adhyayam Onru. The posters of the film had also sported similarities with YAO.

Gautham was also trolled when the release date for ENPT was announced as November 29. Since the year was not mentioned, some of them created memes asking Endha Varusham? (Which year?).

Gautham was quick to clear the air before it snowballs into a serious controversy. He took to his twitter handle and wrote, Thanking @isharikganeshsir for helping me ‘realise my vision’ & for coming on board to release #ENPT. He saw ENPT & liked it & we’ve agreed to take a journey forward together. More announcements to follow. JOSHUA is not YOHAN but an equally big idea that needed a big producer.”

Gautham went on to add, “It’s a complete action flick and Varun pulled off some stylish stunt sequences. And without my stunt director Yannick Ben, this would not be possible.” He also revealed that Dhuruva Natchathiram, which is close to his heart, would be in post production over the next 60 days and is heading towards a release.

Observing the series of tweets on his upcoming projects, it looked as though the filmmaker has totally forgotten his production venture Naragasooran directed by Karthik Naren of Dhuruvanga 16 fame.

Karthick was quick to reply in a sarcastic tone. Posting a picture of Naragasooran he asked, “Some clarity on when this is gonna see the light of the day will be really helpful sir. And yes, this film is very very close to my heart!”
