Recently, the announcement of Thiagarajan Kumararaja bringing Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil and Samantha onboard for an untitled film took Kollywood by surprise. Sources close to the team revealed that the shooting will begin in January in Chennai. Cinematographer PC Sreeram will crank the camera and the team is now finalising the rest of cast and crew.
Now, rumours are rife that Thiagarajan has roped in five directors to pen the dialogues for the flick. We hear Mysskin and Nalan Kumarasamy are among the five. When DC contacted a source close to Mysskin and Nalan himself, they neither denied the news nor accepted it. “We are not entitled to reveal anything at this point and Thiagarajan will be the person to confirm the news,” was all that was said. Efforts to reach the director went in vain. It is a known fact that Thiagarajan and Nalan share a great rapport as the latter had been signed on to direct the former’s script in Indian collaborative feature film titled X: Past Is Present.
