Udhayanidhi Stalin’s smart reply to actor Vijay being addressed as ‘Thalapathy’ by his fans (the actor is even mentioned so in film credits) to one of his followers on his social media handle is going viral. It is well-known that Udhay’s dad and DMK party leader MK Stalin has had the prefix ‘Thalapathy’ attached to his name for decades among DMK cadre.
A person named Ramesh had asked Udhayanidhi on his twitter account how does his political party (DMK) take it when Vijay is being called ‘Thalapathy.’ Udhay promptly relied saying, “Yes, Vijay anna (brother) is the ‘Thalapathy’ of the film industry and Ajith sir the ‘Thala’ of the industry. It is correct only!”
While many were happy with Udhay’s fitting reply, some of Vijay fans feel that the producer turned actor is trying to confine Vijay to cinema while they want their ‘Thalaiva’ to come to politics.
