GV Prakash began his music career with Veyyil, a film directed by Vasantabalan. 12 years later, the two have teamed up again, this time with Prakash playing the hero. The first look of their film, a romantic action-drama titled Jail, was revealed recently. It features Abarnathi of Enga Veettu Maapillai fame as the leading lady.
Speaking about the project, Prakash, who reportedly plays a character named Karunaa, says, “Jail will be an important film in my career.” His rugged look set against the backdrop of crowded buildings suggests that the plot deals with the residents of the housing board apartments.
Not surprisingly, Prakash has also doubled up as the music composer of Jail. The film is said to be in its final stages of shooting; it will be wrapped up within the next few days.
