Karunakaran teams up with Jai
Actor Karunakaran, who made audiences laugh with his timing in the recently released Jackson Durai, has already started shooting his next film Yenaku Vaaitha Adimaigal. This comedy entertainer is directed by Mahendran Rajamani, who has worked as a co-director in Tamizh Padam. Producer Shan Sutharshan of Vansan Movies is bankrolling this project.
Yenaku Vaaitha Adimagal has actors Jai and Pranitha Subash in the lead roles. Elaborating on the team, Karunakaran said, “This is the first time I am sharing the screen space with Jai. We are having so much fun on the sets in Puducherry. After completing the schedule here by next week, we will continue the shoot in Chennai. I play Jai’s friend in this movie and I also have scenes with actress Pranitha.”
The talkie portion of the movie is expected to be completed by the end of this month. Shooting is underway at a brisk pace, and 30 per cent has already been completed. Cinematographer Mahesh Muthuswami, composer Santhosh Dayanidhi, and editor Gopi Krishna have been roped in as part of the technical team. Actors Kaali Venkat, Naveen, and Rajendran form the supporting cast.
Karunakaran is awaiting the release of Prabhu Solomon’s Thodari, Atharvaa’s Semma Bothai Aagathey, Bobby Simha’s Vallavanukku Vallavan, and Veera with Kreshna.
