Thursday was special for Trisha

Paramapadham Vilaiyattu is a political thriller and this is the first ever time I am part of a film that belongs to this genre, says Trisha.

Seventeen years and 59 films later, Chennai ponnu still occupies the top spot. She is none other than Trisha who feels quite excited over her next, which is a thriller named Paramapadham Vilayaattu. To celebrate her birthday, the producers released the trailer of the film on May 3.

Trisha, without a lead pairing in the film directed by Thirugnanam, will be seen in the unconventional role and mother of a girl (actor Kottachi’s 5-year-old daughter Manashvi), and as the title suggests, it has several twists and turns. She plays a doctor, who will be kidnapped by a group of people. These portions were canned in the dense forest areas of Yercaud. How she overcomes the predicament and escapes the situation with her clever and bold moves forms the rest of the film.

Trisha said in a video, “Paramapadham Vilaiyattu is a political thriller and this is the first ever time I am part of a film that belongs to this genre. The film is a mix of thriller, revenge, action and emotions involving mother and daughter.”
