In her career spanning two years, Keerthy Suresh seems to have hit the right chords. Her growth since Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015, has been sensational, elevating her to ‘poster girl’ status in the Tamil film fraternity. Having acted with Vijay in Bairavaa, Keerthy is now busy shooting for Suriya-starrer Thaanaa Serndha Koottam.
According to latest developments, the Rajini Murugan actress now has got another promising opportunity. She has been chosen as one of the leads in director Hari’s Saamy 2, which has Vikram and Trisha in the lead roles. Close sources to the actress reveal, “She has a greart role to play in one of the best franchises in the industry. Saamy 2 will go on floors sometime in June or July and Keerthy would join the sets in August.”
Another source close to the team disclosed that Vikram will be essaying dual roles in the sequel. Rumours are rife that he would appear as a father and son. While Trisha will be romancing the father, Keerthy has significant scenes with the latter. Produced by Shibu Thameens, the music will be scored by Harris Jayaraj and cinematography by Priyan.
