Karthi to take flying lessons!
Horse riding was an integral part of his upcoming flick Kashmora, and now Karthi is all set to learn the basics of flying an airplane, for his new film with his mentor Mani Ratnam — he essays the role of a pilot. Speaking to DC Karthi says, “My role in Kashmora required me to take horse riding lessons. I trained with the help of thoroughbred horses — Blackie was one of them. However, I had to take a different call while riding each horse! Ultimately, it’s all about how you get along with them. Once they become close to you, they will listen to your commands. If I say ‘run’ during a shot, the animal will heed my command.”
We ask about the short course he will be undergoing for his upcoming flick Kuruthi Pookkal — “Yes, Mani sir wanted me to learn the basics of flying, which will be for two to three weeks before we commence the shoot. I’ll start training sometime in June, I guess,” he reveals.
