Manisha Yadhav performs a spiritual dance

Recently a scene where Manisha was required to dance in front of the family deity Muneeswaran to fulfil a promise was canned.

Manisha Yadhav has been offered meaty roles post her brilliant performance in Oru Kuppai Kathai. She has been roped in for a horror genre titled Sandi Muni where she is paired opposite Natraj. Yogi Babu, the toast of K’town provides comedy. Vasu Vikram, Chams and Aarthi essay supporting roles.

“Natraj essays a civil engineer named Sandi. Manisha plays a teacher. When the duo is about to get hitched, they land in a big problem. The movie revolves around the conflicts between a ghost and a woman and how Sandi is caught in between, which is narrated in a hilarious manner,” reveals its director Milka Selvakumar.

Recently a scene where Manisha was required to dance in front of the family deity Muneeswaran to fulfil a promise was canned. A temple set with 30-foot Muni statue was erected for this purpose where Manisha danced with 40 dancers and 300 junior artistes. “The pooja and spiritual dance is being offered to god to ward off the evil spirit that is an obstacle to Manisha’s marriage,” the director adds.
