Barath has been roped in for a bilingual Tamil-Malayalam film titled Last 6 Hours, directed by Sunish Kumar, a former assistant toace Rajeev Menon.
Says Sunish, “A heist story, four thieves from different backgrounds decide to carry out one final robbery before settling down in life; and this has to be accomplished in six hours. But, an unexpected turn of events changes their course of action. The rest is narrated with several twists and turns in a thrilling manner.”
Asked whyhe chose Bharath, he says, “I wanted someone with a macho appearance. After seeing Bharath’s toned physique in Kadugu, I was keen to get him on board. We gave him a trainer to work on his body and in three months, Bharath got this manly look. There are alot of action sequences and he pulled them off effortlessly. He is such a dedicated artiste.”
Incidentally, Bharat is equally popular in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Viviya Santh plays Bharath’s love interest and she will also be seen as part of the gang.
Producer Anoop Khalid doubles up as the lead antagonist in the movie. The cast also includes Anu Mohan, Adil Ibrahim and Pramil Sidharth. Sinu Siddarth handles the cinematography. The film has been shot in Chennai, Kerala and Dubai....
