Rumors are abuzz that ace director Mani Ratnam and Telugu actor and son of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan might team up for a film.
When we contacted Mani’s office, one of his close aides did confirm that Charan met Mani recently for a possible collaboration but nothing has been locked.
“Many actors want to team up with Mani sir and are also talking to him for a while. It’s all in the nascent stage! There could also be a possibility of other stars being considered as well. But, as of now, the director is busy completing his present project Kaattru Veliyidai, that features Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, Shraddha Srinath in the leads. He will be taking up his next project only after KV’s release,” a unit source adds.
Earlier, many other Telugu heroes including Nani, Nagarjuna, and Mahesh Babu were also in talks to collaborate with the Thalapathi director, but all attempts drew a total blank.
