Next GV-Adhik film titled Virgin'

Adhik Ravichandran, who came into the limelight with his debut Trisha Illana Nayanthara, starring GV Prakash-Anandhi-Manisha, is in the news, once again.

The title of his upcoming film with the same lead actor GV, which he revealed to DC has drawn a lot of attention. He has sensationally named his upcoming flick Virgin!

Given the image he has, he feels the need to elaborate, "Virgin is a clean rom-com and will not be a shocker. It is a love story aimed at the present, younger generation. The story revolves around the theme of how today’s youth prefer early marriage."

Quiz him if his aim is to create a buzz through explicit titles, and pat comes his reply, "No! My producer is investing money with full faith in me. I wish to give a 100 percent guarantee for his investment, so right from choosing the title, I try to make it as quirky as possible. Yes, in a way it is getting a lot of attention from the beginning."

Adhik also feels that ultimately, ‘content is the king’ — "I know the title is in English and it will be disqualified for tax exemption. But, I am confident that my film will run for its good content and keep audiences happy."
