Satish Ramakrishnan, who earlier made Tamizhananen, a film was on women’s safety and Varma Kalai, a traditional martial art, is back with yet another sensational subject.
Titled 2323, the film talks about the acute water crisis in the country and the dirty politics behind it. “The story is spread over 300 years and I am making the first part which is set in 2020 now. The film ends in 2323. I did a lot research before embarking on this journey and you will see shocking revelations,” said Satish, who plays the lead in the film.
“The villain claims that he is well-versed in the changing climatic conditions and calls himself the ‘weather controller’, thus cheating innocent people. How the hero foils his scheming and triumphs is the crux of the plot. I am bringing in the dying traditional martial art called Kutthu Varisai in 2323. At a time when audiences are being given clichéd masala films, they will be in for new experiences with 2323”, he added.
Saathvika from T’town and Crystal from New York are the leading ladies.
