Yesteryear Telugu and Tamil heroine Aamani’s niece Hrithika is being launched as a heroine in K’town. The young girl is debuting as the female lead in a film titled Vidyaadha Iravondru Vendum. Directed by Karuppaiah Murugan, the film has Ashok as the lead hero.
Speaking to DC about foraying into films, Hrithika says, “I have grown watching my aunt Aamani and uncle and noted producer Kaja Mohideen’s films. My aunt was a big actress in Telugu and won several awards. I was keen to enter showbiz, when both of them advised me to complete my school education first.
Meanwhile, I equipped myself with classical and filmy dances. Now that I am in college, when this offer came, I grabbed it. I loved my character and signed on the dotted line.”
