Barely hours after the news of Kamal Haasan and Gautami Tadimalla’s split rocked tinsel town, a message on WhatsApp attributed to Kamal himself started going viral. In the forward which is in poetic form, the actor expresses his disillusionment on Gautami leaving him, but that he’s not angry at her for her decision and wishes her well.
However, after being bombarded with calls and messages all day, Kamal was quick to issue a statement that the poem was not his — and that someone was playing an indecent game by making remarks under his name. He also added that at this point, he was not going to comment anything on the matter of the breakup.
His daughter, Shruti, who has also been linked as one of the reasons behind the split, immediately followed suit, with a press release of her own stating that she has never commented on anyone’s personal life and their decisions. For her, what matters most is standing by, loving and respecting her family — her parents and her sister, no matter what. We wonder what’s next in line in this saga!
