Tollywood Superstar Prabhas’ close relative Harish and T’town hot girl Yamini Bhaskar will make their debut in Tamil with Munnodi. Directed by SPTA Kumar, it’s the story of a man who becomes a thug due to circumstances; and when he wants to turn a new leaf, society does not allow him.
The director says that he has never assisted anyone in the film industry, and it was out of a passion for cinema that he has stepped in to helm the project.
“The movie depicts the other side of a rowdy. No one is bad when they are born. They become that way due to the various circumstances they are drawn into,” he says.
While Harish is a budding actor in Telugu, Yamini has acted in a few films, including Keechaka and Titanic. Paval Navaneethan from Kuttram Kadithal and Arjuna of Kangaroo fame act as villains. Remya Nambeesan has been roped in to render a song, which begins with the lyrics ‘Akkam Pakkam’.
