GV Prakash and Seeman unite

Titled Kobam, the film will go on floors in October.

It is safe to say that music director-turned-actor GV Prakash is one of the fast-growing artistes in the industry. With nearly 15 projects in his kitty, the actor is enjoying the spotlight and rejoicing his time in Kollywood. The Bruce Lee actor, who is currently shooting for Baba Bhaskar’s Kuppathu Raja and Ravi Arasu’s Ayngaran, has signed yet another film.

Seeman, who has been in the limelight due to his political comments, will return as a director yet again after a hiatus of eight years. The duo will join hands for a film with a social message. Speaking to DC, GV Prakash says, “I play the lead role in Seeman sir’s Kobam, and will join the team after completing my ongoing projects. I’ve allotted my dates in October for this film.”

A source in the know tells us that the plot will revolve around an angry young man. Currently, Seeman is busy giving final touches to his script and is expected to lock the ultimate script in a couple of months. The technical team and the cast of Kobam, will be announced in the coming days.

Seeman’s last directorial was Vaazhthukkal in 2008 starring Madhavan and Bhavana in the lead roles.
