Anaika Soti starts vlogging
Make-up is something that Anaika can talk about for days together. “I love make-up and learnt the strokes through trial and error method. These days, I do my own looks for the films that I am a part of. The make-up artists, who come on sets, used to share their skills, and since I was naturally interested, I picked it up. Now, I want to share my knowledge with other make-up enthusiasts. That is the primary reason to start a vlog series. I’ve some interesting stuff planned for summer and rainy seasons,” she begins the conversation.
Elaborating on her project, she says, “At the moment, I will be uploading make-up tutorials and eventually, I will post dance routines as well. The first video will be up by next week and it will be in time-lapse style. My mom has set up a room for this and I’ve asked my team to keep the lighting minimal, as I wanted to keep it natural.”
Anaika is upbeat about the response she is getting for her recent music video which had vocals by Shreya Ghoshal and directed by Kunal Naithani.
“I never expected it and I’m really happy about the outcome. At the moment, I want to take it slow and I am content with the choices I’ve made so far,” she exclaims.
She has, meanwhile, wrapped up the shooting of Semma Botha Aagatha. “I play a bold character and recently, I shot a song titled Itemkaaran with Atharvaa. It is a nice team and choreographer Kalyan master was extremely sweet to work with,” she shares.
Talking about her other film, Kee, starring Jiiva, she quips, “It’s an edgy story and that’s the reason I picked it up. Director Kalees’ narration was interesting and I still have seven days of shoot left. I am excited to shoot a song with Jiiva, as he is a great dancer.”
