Earlier, he paid a visit to his ardent fan Archana’s house — she suffered from a rare disease but wished to meet the matinee idol. Naturally he obliged; this time around it was for hardcore fan Jithin from God’s own Country.
A member of Vijay fans association at Kollam district in Kerala, Jithin, who is on the verge of losing his eyesight, got his wish fulfilled in Chennai. The youngsters, after completely losing sight in one of his eyes, is on the verge of losing sight in the other eye as well. It is learnt that Jithin wanted to meet his favourite star before it was too late. When Vijay came to know about this, he took time off from his shooting and met the boy. He even offered monetary help. Sources add that the boy is suffering from an unusual condition, which doctors are yet to ascertain and start treatment.
