Santhanam to work with Kannan as a hero

Santhanam has resolved not to play comedy roles after he turned an independent hero. The actor who is a regular in director Kannan’s earlier films like Jeyamkondan, Kanden Kadhalai, Vanthaan Vendraa and Settai as comedian has now been roped in by the latter for his next action entertainer where he will be seen as the lead protagonist.

After Dhillukku Dhuttu 2’s tremendous success, Santa’s stakes in K’town has gone up.

Talks are on with a top league actress to play the female lead. The shooting of this film, bankrolled by Ram Prasad and Kannan, will start from July and it will hit screens in December 2019.
