Vivekh trolled by netizens for gender bias
Netizens who bristled at the suggestion trolled him.

It’s holiday time for schools and colleges now. While some of the youth go to summer camps and others go on holiday trips, actor Vivekh had a suggestion for kids about how to spend their summer. Netizens who bristled at the suggestion trolled him.
Vivekh may be known for his on screen comedy with social messages. But what he tweeted on his social media handle has not gone down well with netizens.
Apparently he tweeted, “Dear students n kids! Despite summer, enjoy your vacation. Drink lots of water after playing. Girls! Be helpful to your moms in kitchen n learn cooking. Boys, go to your dad’s workplace n see how he works for your family! Bond thickens!”
Tweep, Revathi Duraiswamy, wrote, “Seriously? You still want girls to be in kitchen and boys to be in work? Neengallam thirunthave matteengala?” (Won’t you people ever change?)
Tamizh Kirukku said, “Why do you restrict girls at kitchen? Do you want to follow the ideology of supiditism //sanghis?”
Ashoka Varshini replied saying, “Definitely expected better from you sir. Hoping you will understand and change the tweet soon. Cheers.” Vimal wrote,” I never expected this Conservative ideology of yours. And I’m happy to see more liberals opposing your views. C’mon. It’s time for you to change.”
A few of them did come to Vivekh’s rescue. The actor conveyed his thanks for understanding him and said ‘I am sure all the parents would agree to my views on learning good cooking from mothers and hard work from fathers during their vacation’.
