Speculation is rife that Nayanthara has been approached for the Tamil remake of Bollywood movie Pari: Not a Fairytale, a supernatural horror thriller, which had Anushka Sharma in the lead.
The film was produced under the actress’ own banner, Clean Slate Films. Anushka got rave reviews for her performance and the film garnered decent returns at the box-office.
Now, we hear that a big K’town producer has bought the remake rights of Pari and he wants Nayanthara on board to reprise Anushka’s role. Acting in ghost thrillers is not new to Nayan. One may recall her horror thrillers like Maya, Dora and Kaashmora. If all goes well, she would be accepting the offer, according to sources.
