Small screen employees get pay hike

The tussle between Chinnathirai Producers Association (STEPS) and FEFSI over the wage hike, which has been ongoing on for some time, came to an end on Tuesday thanks to Kushboo, the secretary of STEPS, who mediated the issue. Speaking on the occasion she said, “Talks regarding an increase in pay between producers and employees have been amicably concluded.
Accordingly, a resolution was passed to increase the wages by 27.5 percent, which will come into effect starting from today and continue for a period of three years. About 5,000 small screen workers from seven different industry crafts will be benefitted.”
