Rumours are abuzz that the actress has been roped in to play Ameer’s pair in the latter’s Sandhanadevan starring Arya and Sathya. Speaking to DC, Iniya says, “The final stages of discussion are underway and I am looking forward to hopping on board.”

Also, the Karai Oram actress is upbeat about her Malayalam film, Puthan Panam, with superstar Mammootty. “I play a Tamil girl who has migrated from Chennai to Kerala. Pairing up with Mammootty sir is a blessing as he is extremely friendly and supportive on the sets. I was initially nervous as I heard that he is stern and strict. But, he was just the opposite and this is a huge boost to my career,” explains the actress.

Iniya has completed the first schedule and is shooting for the second schedule from today.  Puthan Panam, directed by Ranjith, will be shot in Cochin, Calicut, Goa and Pollachi. The film boasts an ensemble cast of Renji Panicker, Siddique, Saikumar, Sheelu Abraham, Abu Salim and Hareesh Perumanna.
