Ghibran to score for Karthi-Preet Singh flick
Music director Ghibran is probably one of the busiest in the business with nearly ten films in his kitty. He’s also now been roped in for director Vinoth’s Dheeran Adhigaaram Ondru starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh.
The Magalir Mattum composer stated, “Karthi is my favourite actor and this is the first time I am teaming up with him. I have already started working on the album and it is going to be grand and unique. I hope this film will turn out of be a highly successful venture.”
Meanwhile, director Vinoth who made Sathuranga Vettai, is miffed that he has been mistaken to be in charge of the sequel as well (actually being directed by
Nirmal Kumar)
“I helmed Sathuranga Vettai, but it is kind of irritating to see my name floating around for the sequel. I am fully focussed on Dheeran Adhigaaram Ondru which will revolve around three main characters. It will be a romantic action-entertainer that will focus on Karthi, Rakul and another character. We are currently finalising the rest of the cast,” he said.
The talented director also added that the story will focus on an important mystery solved by police officials. “The film will be shot across India and we will kickstart Dheeran… from January end or the first week of February,” he concluded.
Cinematographer Sathish, art director Kathir, stunt choreographer Dilip Subbarayan and CG artist Hariharan are part of the crew.
