After a long gap, we will get to see a popular yesteryear hero and his actor son sharing screen space in Tamil cinema. Yes, Karthik, who made a comeback with Anegan and now busy with Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam, will join hands with his son Gautham Karthik for a movie, Mr Chandramouli, which is directed by Thiru of Naan Sigappu Manithan fame.
Talking about roping in the duo, Thiru says, “I heard many in the past have approached Karthik sir to act alongside of Gautham. When I narrated the script, he was impressed with the way that both his and Gautham’s roles were given equal importance. That is why he gladly gave his nod.”
The film has an ensemble cast of directors Mahendran, Ahathiyan, Regina Cassandra, Varalaxmi, Santhosh Pratap and Satish among others.
