Venkat Prabhu is certainly making all the right moves to ensure anticipation for his upcoming Chennai-28 sequel hits the roof.
The director took to social media to share a link from the UK newspaper Guardian’s website — that lists his first film among cinema’s most memorable cricketing moments! The Guardian article is from two years back though (August 2014), and has other popular movies like Lagaan, The Lady Vanishes, Hope and Glory and The Shaun Of The Dead, as part of the list.
Prabhu, who is currently busy with the release of the sequel, Chennai-28 Part II, says, “I am surprised. I never thought that it would get this honour. It comes at the right time for Chennai 28 II. I can’t ask for more.”
The director and his team along with the film’s composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, are all set to unveil the audio and trailer of the sequel at a grand function in Malaysia on October 7.
