Although both Lavanya Tripathi and Hebah Patel were in talks to play the female lead in the Tamil remake of Telugu film 100% Love, it appears that after several negotiations and discussions, the makers have zeroed in on the former to play the role in the film.
The movie will see composer-singer-actor G.V. Prakash Kumar reprise the role of Naga Chaitanya. In the film, titled 100% Kadhal, the actress will be reprising the role of Tamannaah, and is said to even be losing weight in preparation for the role.
“Lavanya has signed on the dotted line. The makers found her most suitable for the remake as she has the look to pull off the look of an undergraduate student.
The actress is all set to lose weight in a bid tolook younger,” reveals a source.
To be directed by Chandramouli, the film will be predominantly shot in London.
