Sundeep Kishan bags Naragasooran
After the stupendous success of Maanagaram, actor Sundeep Kishan has been flooded with offers in Tamil and Telugu. While his next venture, Maayavan is up for release, he has Suseenthiran’s Aramm Seidhu Pazhagu (Tamil-Telugu bilingual) and an untitled film with director Thiru in the pipeline. Now, the actor has been signed on to play an important role in Karthick Naren’s Naragasooran.
Speaking to DC, director Karthick Naren says, “Since Naga Chaitanya couldn’t commit to the project due to personal reasons, we had to look for another actor to replace him. We were in talks with Sundeep Kishan for a while, and we brought him onboard only a couple of days back. We will start shooting by August end or the first week of Septe-mber.”
The D16 director also adds that the team is busy with the pre-production. “We have finalised locations for the film and the primary cast will be locked when we choose an actress to play Sundeep’s pair in the movie,” he adds.
Co-produced by Gautham Menon, the makers are eyeing for a grand release in 2018. Naragasooran is a gripping thriller about four characters. Actors Arvind Swami, Indrajith Sukumaran and Shriya Saran play the lead roles.
