Actor Prabhudheva, who is all set to direct his next project Karuppu Raja Vella Raja, is currently busy with his acting projects. He is now simultaneously shooting for MS Arjun’s Yung Mung Sang, Chakri Toleti’s Khamoshi (Hindi version of Kolayuthir Kaalam) and Karthik Subbaraj’s yet-to-be-titled film.
The choreographer is back from London where he shot for Khamoshi and now is working on Karthik’s flick. A source tells us, “The film’s shoot has been progressing at a brisk pace in several areas in Puducherry and it looks like it will be wrapped up in another two weeks. Since Karthik Subbaraj’s film with Dhanush will considerably take a long time to begin, he didn’t want to waste his time. So, he quickly moved on to his next and the official details will be announced by the end of this month.
A few weeks back, it was reported that Kannada actress Samyuktha Hegde was chosen as the lead lady. Apparently, the actor-danseuse, who was doing another Kannada film, was so excited that she agreed to do Karthik Subbaraj’s film without having a word with the makers of the Kannada film. She was pulled into controversy and owing to pressure, she backed out of the project. As of now, the team is being secretive about their female lead.
