Vijay Sethupathi’s generosity in helping the needy is known. He also recently gifted Rs 5 lakh to Gomathi Marimuthu, who made the nation proud by winning a gold medal for India in the Asian Athletics Championship held in Qatar.
The actor handed over the cheque through his fan club as he was shooting in Rajapalayam for Laabam. He spoke to Gomathi over the phone. Earlier, actor Robo Shankar gave a cheque for `1 lakh to the athlete and Anirudh Ravichander gave `1 lakh and Nike shoes.
