Even before his gangster film Seyal has hit the marquee, young actor Rajan Tejeshwar has bagged his second movie as a lead protagonist. The flick is titled Kumar Velaikku Poraan and is directed by Sai Shankar, a former assistant of actor-filmmaker Samuthirakani.
Talking about Seyal, Tejeshwar says, “Right from my young age, it was my dream to act in films. I also prepared myself in all aspects of acting. Around the same time, I met Ravi Appulu sir who did films with the likes of Vijay sir. He narrated a story which had everything like comedy, action, emotions and romance and I thought it was the right launch pad for me.”
“It is a proper commercial film and I have a solid role, he adds. “How a simple man wins over a powerful dada forms the crux.” Tharushi who is presently acting in an Ameer production will be seen romancing Tejeshwar in the film and she also has a bearing in the story, Ravi tells us. Impressed with the outcome of Seyal, which is to hit the theatres on May 18, producer CR Rajan has started his next venture titled Kumar Velaikku Poraan, where he has roped in Tejeshwar and Sai Shankar as director.
