Bollywood ace producer and director KC Bokadia’s debut in Tamil in the film titled Rockky gets a release date — April 12. The movie a crime thriller, which stars Srikanth and Eshanya in the lead, has a dog ‘Rockky’ as the central character.
Talking about the film Bokadia says, ‘Srikanth will be seen as an upright cop in the film. The story is inspired from my own 1985 B’town movie Teri Meherbaniyan, which had Jackie Shroff and Poonam Dhillon as the lead pair and a dog in a crucial role. I have changed the script of the murder mystery to go well with the sensibilities of south audiences.’
Nassar, Brahmanandham, Sayaji Shinde, OAK Sundar, Karate Raja are in the supporting cast. While the music is by Bappi Lahiri and Charan Arjun, DOP is by Azmal Khan. The movie will hit the marquee on April 12.
