Maghizhchi’ was the term made popular by superstar Rajinikanth, which he uttered often in his film Kabali directed by Pa Ranjith. To go with his own dialogue, on the concluding day of his Vaanam Cultural Fest, the Kaala director launched a music album ‘Magizhchi’, which has eight songs composed by Thenma and sung by Casteless Collective band. Santhosh Narayanan unveiled the first set of audio.
Among the songs, Pa Ranjith has directed the number ‘Magizhchi’. Actors Kalaiyarasan, Lingesh and Johny have also been featured in the album.
“The aim of the festival was to get people to partake in the celebrations through arts and culture towards striving for social justice and equality,” remarked Pa. Ranjith. —AS
