Vajravel Anand, who worked as an editor in several of K.Balachander’s films, takes to the megaphone in directing a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam titled Laddu. The film imparts a message that whatever you teach children, it should be taught in a kind manner.
Talking about his debut venture, Vajravel says, “It is about the predicaments of a single parent to rear his twin children (boys) after his wife’s death. The troubles the father faces and the funny situations that result from the kids’ actions are told in an interesting and entertaining way.”
Guna Babu, who had played character roles in films like Irumbuthirai, Tamizh Padam 2, Kaali, has been elevated to a hero now. Swetha plays his pair. Visweshwaran and Vigneshwaran are the twin boys who appear in the central characters. While Rishal Sai composes the music, Chidhambaram is behind the camera.
